We took Kambree on an Oregon Roadtrip to the coast. We went to Newport. The day was sunny and nice. We went to the aquarium, the beach, and then had dinner at Mo's right on the water. It was a very fun day.

A Palmer Family Update

Kambree Turns 2!

Well I guess my New Year's Resolution to update my blog every month went out the window in April with my last post! I am going to try very hard to stay on top of it now that we are not in Montana any more.

So.....what has been going on? We moved to Oregon!

Kyle took a position coaching at Pacific University in Forest Grove Oregon. We have been here for 1 week. We are all unpacked and settled. Now we are looking forward to exploring our new home. I am excited about the weather and how much there is to do. In just 1 week we have visited the coast, the cheese factory, the Japanese gardens and had 2 birthday parties.

Our dear friend and great photographer took Kambree's 2 year photos.

Just before we left Butte we celebrated Kambree's birthday. Here are some pictures....

She had a wonderful time with all her family. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us. She is such a fun little girl. We are so lucky to have her.

Off to Oregon!

We left the weekend after all the birthday parties for Oregon. We have really been enjoying our time. I think we are going to like it as long as our friends and family agree to come visit us! This is what we have been up to....

She loved the slide @ Rose Garden Park

Kambree thought the beach was a 'big sand box'

What is better than ice cream @ the Tillamook Factory?

Easter Morning

Kambree had a fun Easter morning. She loved finding eggs and stuffing as many jelly beans in her mouth as possible. We had a quiet day but it was very nice.

Florida Trip

For Kyle's birthday Kambree and I treated him to a trip to Orlando. We had a blast. It was the first surprise that I have actually been able to pull off. We had a short trip and both decided that we will definitely go back. We started from Boise and then flew to Orlando. We packed as much as we could into our 3 day visit. We hit Sea World and my favorite part was the flamingos. Kyle road a 'scary' rollercoaster (that is according to Kambree). Kambree loved petting the manta rays. Well ok, she loved the thought of petting them. She would laugh an squeal but when one would pull it's face out of the water to beg her for food, she did not like that so much.
Of course we could not go without seeing the Magic Kingdom. Kambree had such a fun time there! She saw almost every character and got pictures with them all. Her favorite ride was Dumbo but really she was happy with all of them that we went on. She loved looking at everything and all the characters. She really didn't know Disney characters before we went but by the end of the day she could pick them out no problem. Her favorites are Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse. We walked into the room to see Mickey, not knowing that Minnie would be there too. When she saw Minnie she gasped and said 'Minnie'! Such a cutie. When she got to meet Donald she was in love. She hugged and kissed him and didn't want anything to do with Goofy who was standing on the other side of her. Actually, when Goofy tried to get her attention, she punched him in the nose!
We did manage to squeeze in 1 day at the beach. We drove to Cocoa Beach and it was just beautiful. Kambree loved chasing the sea gulls all over the place. Of course that made everyone else happy because she was keeping them away from them! Once she tired of that she tried putting all the sand back into the ocean. I enjoyed the beach too because I met up with a dear friend from Ohio. It was nice to catch up in person.

At Sea World Kambree loved the fish and the birds. She could've spent all day just watching them. She wasn't very interested in the shows but the animals were very fun.
Kambree proved herself to be a very good traveler. With no major melt downs we have decided that we can travel with her all the time. I am just thankful for the portable DVD player and the 1 Elmo movie that we had. Who knew a child could watch the very same 50 minute video 118 times in a week? Now that we have been home Kambree tells stories about her trip. It is so funny to listen to her mix words with hand signs to try to tell us about giving Mickey a high five or the flying Dumbo. What a crack up!

February Fun

We have been enjoying the snow in Butte America. While I would love sun and tropical weather we have been playing as much as we can. Kambree likes the snow but only until her hands get cold.

She and dad built a snowman. Well, ok, dad built the snowman while Kambree tried to eat his eyes which were made with hershey kisses.

Kambree has also been enjoying time with one of her new friends, Jared. They do get to spend lots of time together at swimming lessons and any other time Jared's mom and I can get together.

Mostly Kambree is just having fun every day. She has been having 'lunch' with her friends, clean with mom, play dress-up, and just be her silly little self. This has been a very quick few months back in Montana for us. We are looking forward to seeing what God has planned for us this next year. We are always so surprised that we don't even try to
guess any more! Whatever happens, we will continue to keep you updated.

Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was in Stevensville with the Palmer side of the family. On Christmas Eve Santa came to Butte before we left. We had a great morning. I was up early waiting for Kambree and Kyle to get up. FINALLY after 8:30 she got up. She came out to see what Santa had left. I must admit, I did not get the reaction I was hoping for but she really loved her new table and chairs.

The night before Kambree set out some chocolate chip cookies for Santa. Those were a special request from the big guy himself :)

Her favorite toy that morning was the Mrs. Potato Head. I had no idea that she would like it as much as she did. She was so cute with her baby in its bed. She layed her down and threw a blanket on her and then walked around 'shooshing' everyone so we knew the baby was sleeping.

Kambree got the hang of opening her gifts. She would tear off the smallest pieces and then hand them to me or Kyle to throw away. Her favorite to open were the gift bags with tissue paper. After she got the gift out of the bag she would put everything back in.

Kambree loved her new baby 'Mimi' and her new Elmo slippers. We had a great holiday together.

christmas is coming

Well, I guess it's too late to post about Halloween since we are only a couple weeks from Christmas! Kambree is more and more fun every day. She loves the Christmas tree. She helped decorate it by piling all the ornaments on top of each other on one branch. I had to leave them because it was so cute!

She plays christmas music and dances all around the house. I will have to get a video of her dancing-it's hilarious! We did have a wonderful friend take some holiday photos for us so here is a preview of her awesome work.
