Alice in Wonderland Birthday Party

3 years. 3 YEARS!!

We have sure had a wonderful 3 years with Kambree. She is turning into such a wonderful little person. She is constantly making us laugh, keeping us honest, and challenging us to Disney princess quizzes that she already knows the answers to.

This weekend we celebrated her birthday with over 20 friends and family. Wow, what a weekend we had!

The party was Alice and Wonderland. I have to admit, Kyle and I sure miss her calling it "Alice Underware".

We made tea cups from ice cream cones, card men krispie treats (my personal favorite), Caterpillar Bubbles, tiny wax 'Drink Me' bottles, and 'Eat Me' cookies.

For fun we had 2 of the Queen's flamingos. The flamingos were much more fun in the water sprayers than playing croquet. The funny DoDo bird pens were also a huge hit.

I loved making the Momeraths. They turned out soooo cute! We also had flowers with eyes and the little door knob man. Kambree would've had us make every character but mom ran out of ideas for everything.

Of course the highlight of the day was the cake. I wish I could take credit for it....ok, I found the design idea. Kambree wanted Kyle to make it. When he agrees to get into the kitchen we all have to stay out of his way. He totally takes over. He baked, made homemade frosting, and decorated the whole thing. He did a fabulous job.

Thank you to all of our friends and family who came to celebrate with us. It's so nice to be close to everyone again!

As Kyle and I were thinking about our sweet girl and her big weekend, we began talking about all that she has done in her life. Here are a few of her stats in just 3 years....
Moved four times.....
Lived in four different states.......
Moved a total of 3,500 miles.......
Visited 13 States......
And played in the sand on both coasts.

What will she do in the next three years?

Up and Running

Ok, ok. I know the last update has been almost a year! I have very high hopes for my blog but I'm not very dedicated. I'll give it another shot :) So, what have we been up to??

We are eagerly awaiting our baby boy to come in September.

This little guy is so squirmy! He never stops moving; day or night. We are really looking forward to meeting him. Kambree just can't wait to be a big sister. She loves him already and is practicing all kinds of things to teach him-sign language, how to crawl, how to be a good boy, you name it.

Kambree loves all the toys that we have been unpacking. It's funny that she likes them more now than she did when they were age-appropriate for her!

We also made another move this spring. Kyle took a position coaching the women's basketball team at Lewis-Clark State College. We are back in the mountains in Lewiston, ID. Our families are very happy that we are so much closer. Kyle loves his job even though working with women has been a change!

We have only been here about a month but so far we are really enjoying it. I have joined a yoga class, we are checking out pre-schools, and loving the parks and weather. She had a great time at the 4th of July festivities. She even won a 2nd place ribbon in the stick horse races.

We are also getting ready for Kambree's 3rd birthday party. She has invited almost everyone on our street, young or old. The theme she decided on is Alice in Wonderland. I have very high hopes to have pictures up of the party. For now, here is a sneak peek.

Halloween 2010

We had so much fun during the month of October. Kambree thought we should all dress up for Halloween. We all had to be characters that she would know. I was Strawberry Shortcake, Kyle was Handy Manny and Kambree, of course was Jessie from Toy Story.

Kambree LOVED the pumpkins. She and dad carved the best Minnie Mouse. She was so excited. We roasted the seeds and Kambree even liked eating the raw pumpkin that they carved out.

We went to the pumpkin patch too. It was so fun. There were animals and lots of things to do for the kids. She had such a fun time. We are really enjoying this season as a family. Kambree has been so much fun. We love being together and enjoying each other. We are looking forward to a busy November and then we're into Christmas. It will be so fun!

Dog Days of Summer

Well I almost didn't get my September post done in time. September seemed to have slipped by from us. We are loving our new home in Oregon. The weather has been great and we are starting to find our way around.

We found a great church. Kambree loves going to hear stories of Jesus and eating snacks...of course she does!

Kambree has signed up for gymnastics. She will go through October. So far she LOVES it. She jumps, runs, and does summersaults. Her favorite is jumping on the long trampoline. This is a picture from her first day.

It's been fun for her to be with other kids and get out of the house.

Her favorite thing right now is Toy Story. Buzz is her best friend. They have tons of girl-time fun together. She dresses him in princess dresses and jewlery. She also loves Woody and Jesse but Buzz is her #1. For Halloween she will be Jessie so check back for pictures. She thinks Kyle should be Buzz but I don't know if that will happen! The only problem is that it is VERY hard to find Buzz Lightyear stuff for girls! Thanks to everyone who has sent stuff to her :)

We have also been doing lots of cooking. Kambree loves helping in the kitchen and she does a really good job. Some of our favorites to cook are pizza, rice krispie treats, spaghetti, and mac & cheese!

Kambree and Kyle make breakfast every morning. This girl can still eat more than me. She loves pancakes and eats 2-3 at a time.

Sunday, August 15, 2010

We took Kambree on an Oregon Roadtrip to the coast. We went to Newport. The day was sunny and nice. We went to the aquarium, the beach, and then had dinner at Mo's right on the water. It was a very fun day.

A Palmer Family Update

Kambree Turns 2!

Well I guess my New Year's Resolution to update my blog every month went out the window in April with my last post! I am going to try very hard to stay on top of it now that we are not in Montana any more.

So.....what has been going on? We moved to Oregon!

Kyle took a position coaching at Pacific University in Forest Grove Oregon. We have been here for 1 week. We are all unpacked and settled. Now we are looking forward to exploring our new home. I am excited about the weather and how much there is to do. In just 1 week we have visited the coast, the cheese factory, the Japanese gardens and had 2 birthday parties.

Our dear friend and great photographer took Kambree's 2 year photos.

Just before we left Butte we celebrated Kambree's birthday. Here are some pictures....

She had a wonderful time with all her family. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us. She is such a fun little girl. We are so lucky to have her.

Off to Oregon!

We left the weekend after all the birthday parties for Oregon. We have really been enjoying our time. I think we are going to like it as long as our friends and family agree to come visit us! This is what we have been up to....

She loved the slide @ Rose Garden Park

Kambree thought the beach was a 'big sand box'

What is better than ice cream @ the Tillamook Factory?
